Organization-wide or workspace-private
Every knowledge item is scoped. The context available to a request is everything organization-wide, plus the private knowledge from the workspaces that person belongs to.
Governed knowledge
A general AI tool sees the file that's open. Volt AI works over a connected view of your organization's knowledge — repositories, documentation, standards, runbooks, core systems and tests — and traverses it within the boundaries of the person asking.

How scoping works
Every knowledge item is scoped. The context available to a request is everything organization-wide, plus the private knowledge from the workspaces that person belongs to.
Anything a person is not entitled to is removed before retrieval runs. It never reaches the model, so it cannot surface in an answer.
Each base shows documents indexed, how it is chunked, retrieval activity, last sync and whether it is healthy. Bases can be re-synced on demand.
When people change, the reasoning behind a system does not leave with them. New engineers can ask how a feature was built and why, and get an answer from the organization's own record.
